The Model 740AJ is the ideal equipment for working on any aircraft size. This model provides 74 feet or 22.6 m of height and over 15 m or 51 feet of outreach. It includes many safety features that you need when performing maintenance. The Fall Arrest platform could be added so as to enable you to exit the platform and move an entire 270 degrees around the platform within a radius of 6 feet, and still have fall protection whilst doing so.



One more feature option is the Soft Touch System. This lessens damage and the risk of any accidental contact in aircraft maintenance. This package option provides a suspended padded rail that surrounds the platform basket. There are proximity sensors which de-activate platform movement functions and if the basket comes too close to the aircraft surface, the operator is alerted.



Benefits

The articulating jib will allow the operator better access and positioning to all external surfaces on any kind of aircraft. This jib can be used in both controlled and uncontrolled places because of steady winds, jet blast standards of 80 mph and 90 mph gusts. An optional on-board air compressor allows for pneumatic-powered hand tools to be utilized. When performing maintenance outside of the platform, the Fall Arrest adds safety.
