Types
Cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks are just among the different types of forklift trucks made by Clark. The various types vary in terms of the way they run. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle models designed to be used within warehouses and other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies based on the type. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, which depends on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion models are suggested. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 48 volt or 36 volt, are utilized to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustible engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion models have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This includes the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame consist of the fuel tank, engine, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
