Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When accuracy and precision are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and developed such as winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being designed and developed all the time and will be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
