Narrow Aisle Forklift
Designed to both lift and lower loaded pallets from storage areas that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This particular type is recommended for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, such as warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires that make maneuvering simple.
The operator of this particular kind of forklift usually stands up inside a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: one in the rear, and two in the front. This configuration allows for easy and fast maneuvering. There are some models of these forklifts that are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment can pivot to the sides, allowing the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the whole equipment. The sit-down version generally has four wheels.
An electric engine is utilized to power many narrow aisle forklifts. Machines that are electrically powered are quiet and do not make exhaust fumes, making them the preferred alternative for closed places like for instance retail spaces. Several lifts come with a gas engine or a diesel engine. Nonetheless, the diesel model is not recommended for indoor use as it can produce exhaust and be quite noisy.
